First Russian route on Trango Tower

In August 2011 a new route on Trango Tower wall was established by the Moscow Mountaineering and Climbing Federation team during the expedition to Karakoram. This is the first Russian route on this mountain.
Members of the team are Viktor Volodin (chief of the expedition), Dmitriy Golovchenko, Sergey Nilov and Alexander Yurkin.
Trango Tower (known also as Nameless Tower – 6.251 m,)  is located in the north of Pakistan in the Baltoro glacier area.  The new route is called No fear, the motto of the famous Moscow climbing club named Demchenko, of which all the team are members. The route length is 1120 meters total, wall part – 920 meters and runs on the center of North-Western face, graded  VII  6b+, A3.
