{"id":98244,"date":"2020-04-07T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2020-04-07T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.up-climbing.com\/boulder\/news-boulder-2\/seconda-salita-di-poison-the-well-per-jimmy-webb\/"},"modified":"2020-04-07T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2020-04-07T00:00:00","slug":"seconda-salita-di-poison-the-well-per-jimmy-webb","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.up-climbing.com\/en\/boulder\/news-boulder\/seconda-salita-di-poison-the-well-per-jimmy-webb\/","title":{"rendered":"Second ascent of Poison the Well for Jimmy Webb!"},"content":{"rendered":"<h5 style=\"text-align: justify\">Another great ascent for Jimmy, of which we know only now &#8230;<\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Poison the Well<\/strong>, 8C +, one of the hardest boulders in Ticino and in the world, a long-standing project in <strong>Brione<\/strong> that just one year ago became the first of the grade for <strong>Giuliano Cameroni<\/strong>!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Already last year <strong>Jimmy Webb<\/strong> came close to send it &#8230; but the dream of the second ascent remained there until this season &#8230; before that COVID-19 stopped the whole world, climbers included.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">In fact, it is only today that Jimmy reveals his climb of exceptional line, done the last month, and this is the comment <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/B-phtc_B-6x\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">on his Instagram profile<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">&ldquo;<em>Throwing it back to simpler times last month in Ticino, CH. Its been a struggle to stay psyched at the moment and to see the point of even posting something on here. Yet, in the end, I suppose our lives must go on. Even if it&rsquo;s a life much different from what we&rsquo;re used to.. I&rsquo;d like to think we will come out of this a changed world for the better. We&rsquo;re all in this together and I hope everyone out there is being as smart and safe as possible. As for this picture, taken of course by the homie @kevintakashismith, is of me snagging the second ascent of &lsquo;Poison the Well&rsquo; 8C+ . After putting in a good amount of effort last season it felt so damn good to come back and finish it up. Huge fist bump to my amico @giuliano_cameroni for establishing this test piece. Giul has always been one of the best climbers I&rsquo;ve ever met, and his drive and motivation towards pushing the limit of our sport is something I respect so much.
